We honour many of Africa’s jewels on our safaris, and on this wonderfully eventful, under-two-week safari we present three especially radiant gems: sparkly Cape Town, gargantuan Victoria Falls, and the classically golden savannahs and lush forests of the private Sabi Sand Game Reserve, next to Kruger National Park. We begin with four nights in Cape Town’s knockout One&Only, a resort of outsize luxury on the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront and a superb base for explorations in this most cosmopolitan of cities and its varied, magnificent environs. We peacefully search for what is perhaps the most splendorous animal on earth in Ranthambore National Park, wander the glamorous Pink City of Jaipur, and witness intense spiritual devotion at Varanasi, “the most supremely potent pilgrimage site on earth.” We end in the supercity of Mumbai, a distillation of India’s incredible energy and ambition, its daily familiarity with and deep attachment to its many thousands of years of history.

All fares are land only, per person, based on double occupancy and subject to availability at time of booking. Fares include taxes and fees and are in US dollars. A 20% deposit is required to confirm your reservation. The balance is due 90 days prior to departure. Cancellations received 90 days or more prior to departure are subject to a $500 per person cancellation fee. Cancellations received 89 – 60 days prior to departure are subject to a fee of 20% of the retail tour rate; 59 – 30 days is 50% of the retail tour rate. Cancellations received 29 days or less are subject to 100% cancellation fee. Insurance is strongly recommended. International airfare is not included.
