Day 2—May 3

Louisville, Kentucky
You don’t have to be a baseball fan to love the Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory. Also, visit the Hermitage Farms, a world-class equine operation where champion Thoroughbreds are born and nursed. Lunch today will be in the banquet room of Claudia Sanders Dinner House. This restaurant is a replica of the elegant, old home opened by Colonel Sanders of KFC fame, in 1959. After lunch visit Undulata Farms, a Saddlebred Horse Farm. We will have the ability to tour the first two floors of the family home, the horse training facility, and actually see training in progress. Later this evening, get the chance to visit the Derby Hat Boutique. This afternoon, return to the hotel to rest up before tonight's "Off to the Races Party," for a taste of a traditional Kentucky menu. (B/L/D)

Day 3—May 4

Welcome to the main event! Today will be jam-packed, so while we encourage you to “dress to impress,” you should also bring comfortable walking shoes. Today’s first event will be the Derby Day Riverboat Race. We have chartered both The Mary M. Mill and the Belle of Louisville. Once it gets started there will be experts providing a few insider tips on the Derby Race. This afternoon enjoy a lovely Derby lunch, followed by the highlight of this trip—the 145th Kentucky Derby. Enjoy a VIP Fast Access to Churchill Downs and 2nd level Grandstand Seats under cover. Enjoy crowd watching, sample a mint julep, and place a few bets. This is one of the world's greatest and most celebrated sporting events. (B/L/D)
